.WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

Personal gear is a must. Proper clothing to meet weather conditions is IMPORTANT. You can always take off clothing if you are warm, but if you are cold and do not have something warm to put on you loose the enjoyment. Always bring a rain suit, as this is a condition that can change at any time. Polarized sunglasses and a hat with a brim are important; they keep the sun off of you but remove the glare in the water for seeing fish.

OUR POLICIES

I do not believe any one person can guarantee that EVERY time you will catch fish. Even the best tournament angler or guide can pull a blank on any certain day. Fishing conditions change from day to day and you must adapt to that change. This is not always easy but I will make my best educated guess from current conditions to fulfill your objective for that day.

1. When booking your trip a $50.00 deposit will be required within 7 days (1week) of entering that date.
   
   
2. BALANCE DUE AMOUNT shall be paid prior at the time services are completed.
   
   
3. CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations are understood and expected. However late cancellations could be a loss of another booking therefore this policy is in effect.
   
   a) If a cancellation becomes necessary on your behalf, your full deposit and any balance amount paid will be returned if notice is given 48 Hours or more prior to your booking less any incurred cost.
   
   b) If a cancellation becomes necessary within 48 hours of the booking the guest will have a rebooking choice within 30 days on available dates or or loss of deposit if the vacated opening can not be filled by another party. 
   
4. GUIDE CANCELLATIONS: If it becomes necessary that I need to cancel due to illness or family emergency you will have the option of me placing you with another local guide or a total refund PLUS rebooking with a 25% savings.
   
   
5. WEATHER CANCELATIONS (day of booking): Weather conditions may not always be favorable. Should conditions occur on your day that would not allow you to go on the water we will consider several options. This is an agreement by both parties:
   
   a) Prior to the start of your day if weather conditions are too extreme and I can not even start your day you will have the option to rebook based on availability or to have your day refunded (less any incurring cost up to that point)
   
   b) If weather conditions cause your day to be shortened an adjusted refund will be based according to time spent on the water. (KEEP IN MIND some of the best fishing can take place in unfair weather conditions). Winds and barometric pressures have a direct bearing on fishing. Approaching fronts and weather changes can improve fishing. I always use extreme CAUTION in thunder and lightning conditions and may avoid this.
   
   
6. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES while in the boat.
   
   
7. Life vest to be worn by all members when the large motor is running.
   
   
8. In almost every case you will be required to check in the day before, more likely the evening before to let me know your are ready and to arrange any meeting locations that would be necessary. You may be required to drive to a launch ramp or target spot to meet. Please get Directions
   
   
9. PAYMENT FORMS: I am a single ownership business, I do not accept Credit Cards. You may use personal checks for your deposit and balance due up to tens days before your booking date. Within ten days or prior to take off, a bank check, money order, or other agreed compensation can be made.
   
   
10. For our most current prices please contact us by phone, email, or regular mail and we will customize a trip for you.
11. Musky Fishing is strickly a Catch and Release policy. I encourage good handling of Muskies, several photos with good measurements and to preserve the moment by the mounting of a replica.
    
     
12. Finally the most important:  As a licensed guide we will always follow the laws of fishing regulated by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Size, limits, and seasonal harvest will always be followed. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A VALID WISCONSIN FISHING LICENSE.

Policies are guidelines; they are intended to give some format to expectations for the protection of both parties. What is my PRACTICE? Good Camaraderie and Good Fishing. I want you to enjoy your day and want you to return. In doing so I want to have good business tradition. I will work in good judgment to see that you fulfill your day and its purpose. I want your day to end with a smile and setting sun.
