“LUNAR EYES” & “LUNAR ESSOX” WORKSHOPS

SCHEDULED FOR EAGLE RIVER, IN 2008

To meet the need for today’s angler, Eagle River will be hosting, four separate, 2-Day workshops this fishing season. These workshops are dedicated to fishing education, as anglers will receive valuable on-the-water experience. Two workshops will cover Walleye Fishing and two workshops will cover Musky Fishing. ALL workshops are theme based on fishing the lunar times of, “Moonrise” & “Moonset” during the Full Moon & New Moon Phases. The strongest known feeding periods that are predictable, but based on local weather.

Workshops are based on a team of two people or partners and are priced as a package for TWO Anglers together. Packages will include: Two nights of Lodging and Two nights fishing with a licensed guide from the EAGLE RIVER GUIDES ASSOCIATION. In each of your two nights you will fish with a different guide, on a different lake, and learn their Lunar Secrets. Lodging arrangements will be hosted at the Eagle River Inn, www.eriver-inn.com if you wish to check lodging arrangements.

Prior to each workshop you will have a group class session, you will meet the guides and be briefed on your outing. You will receive a four hour session (considered a half-day) each night on the water, during the specific lunar times. Pending the workshop you select you will fish either the moonset or moonrise for that particular event. Expect to fish in the dark, but your guide will be equipped for this special event. Workshops scheduled for:

Walleye (during the NEW MOON) Tuesday June 3rd & Wednesday June 4th

Fishing times on moonset 8:00 p.m. to Midnight (Lodging that Tuesday & Wednesday night)

Walleye (during the FULL MOON) Tuesday June 17^th & Wednesday June 18^th 
Fishing times on the moonrise 8:00 p.m. to midnight (Lodging that Tuesday & Wednesday night)

Musky (during the FULL MOON) Wednesday July 16^th & Thursday July 17^th
Fishing times on moonrise 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.  (Lodging that Wednesday & Thursday night)

Musky (during the NEW MOON) Friday August 1^st & Saturday August 2^nd 
Fishing times on moonset 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (Lodging that Friday & Saturday night)

Package Price for TWO ANGLERS (TWO NIGHTS) with lodging: $610.00 ($305.00 each)

Package Price for TWO ANGLERS (TWO NIGHTS) (guide only): $470.00  ($235.00 each)

(In the walleye workshops teams will be asked to pay for the bait in your session)

Attendance is LIMITED to six (6) teams per workshop, based on lodging and guide availibity. Bookings and deposits must be made at the minimum of 45 days in advance to the date of the workshop you are attending. It is to your advantage to book A.S.A.P. A waiting list will be used after the first six teams fill the workshop.
