BIG WALLEYES AT OUR NEW LOCATION
On December 29, 2005 ice conditions became good for us to take out the new shanty. Because of the double trucking we did not get to fish this day. We did however return to the ice the next day where we hit a WALLEYE BONANZA. In an hour and a half I had four flags and caught three fish one at 26 inches weighing over 7 lbs, one at 26.5 weighing 7-1/2 lbs, and one at 28.5 inches weighing 8.5 lbs. The first fish I flagged I lost but it was believed to be the largest, over 30 inches and over 10 lbs. Here ar a couple of our first day walleyes. The two larger fish were released back to the water.

We are now ready for the 2005/2006 Ice fishing Season. Our 8x7 shelter is built and ready to be placed on the ice. Our late fall fishing action has predicted three locations on three lake to place our shelter. We anticipate to fish these spot on first ice to determine which is the best location. One location is a trophy walleye spot, the second is a five fish limit spot, and the third is three fish with good activity. Once we locate the shelter this will be a permanent spot.
We are prepare to heat this shelter and be able to place 4 to 6 people inside. We will fish with the latest state-of-the-art equipment with top quality tip-ups with radio transmitters and light triggers. Power augers (we cut the holes, cook stove available, jigging poles for those who want a hand at panfishing.
Ice fishing like this can be a lot of fun so give it a try. Get your friend together for some great enjoyment. (Best Group is 3 or 4 in a party)
STAY INSIDE WHERE IT IS WARM AND WAIT FOR THE ACTION TO START. TABLE SETUP TO PLAY CARDS AND HAVE SOME MUNCHIES TO BOOT.
Remember Walleye Fishing closes the first Sunday of March and permanent Shelter Fishing Ends on March 15th (all permanent shelters must be removed at that time.)
Best action always seems to be low light hours. Plan a half day or full day, your choice. Customize an outing to meet your needs.
